Entry Requirements
- 1. Applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen, in good health both physically and mentally, who must observe Chinese laws, university rules and regulations, and respect Chinese customs.
- 2. Applicant must be at least 17 years old and no more than 40. Students under 18 can also apply but they might need to find an adult(your family member, relatives or friends) living in China, better a Chinese, as your guarantor in China before you can apply, and your guarantor will need to provide related documents like guardian letter for you to support your application.
- Note: applicant under 18 must submit the guardian certificate (please refer to the guardian certificate sample*)
- 3. Applicant must have a high school diploma or certification of equivalent education.
- 4.Applicant who has already attended a college or university in Mainland China must have good attendance and qualified scores.

Program Description
The Preparatory Chinese Language Program is designed to improve your academic Chinese and study skills so you can enroll inNanjing University of Science & Technology. This program is a full-time program (1 year) encompassing different levels. The major courses are Chinese Listening Speaking, Reading and Writing, Chinese Culture and HSK tutorial, etc.,
Preparatory Chinese Language program is an intensive Chinese language program specifically designed to assist international students wishing to enter Nanjing University of Science & Technology. The program provides students with the academic language skills required in a university where Chinese is the medium of instruction; these skills include the macro areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking (including pronunciation) as well as Business Chinese, Fundamental Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/IT etc.

*1. Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.

Academic transcript in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*3. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy)
The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully arrange your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

If applicants are already current university students in Chinese mainland, they must also provide certificate of enrollment, approved transfer letter, certificate of attendance and transcripts from their previous institutions.
